Privacy Policy

Overview

City Transport ("the App") is developed and maintained by Alexandr Nadtoka ("I", "me", "my"). This Privacy Policy describes what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Location Data

The App can optionally use your device's location to center the map on your current position. This is entirely optional — the App functions fully without location access.

• Location data is used only in real time to center the map view.
• Location data is never stored on the device beyond the current session.
• Location data is never transmitted to any server controlled by me.
• You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services.

Transit Data

The App retrieves real-time public transit vehicle positions from third-party transit data providers. This is anonymous, map-level data about vehicle locations — no personal user data is involved in this exchange.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect:

• Personal identifiable information
• Stored location history
• Analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs beyond what Apple's ad frameworks may use

In-App Purchases & Advertising

The free version of the App displays ads. Ads are served through Apple's or other advertising frameworks and may use anonymized device identifiers for ad relevance. You can remove ads via the in-app purchase option.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store. I do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Security

The App does not store personal data, so there is minimal personal data at risk. Any cached transit data is temporary and contains no personal information.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. As the App collects no personal data from any user, it is compliant with COPPA.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
